One of Life's Hiccups!

Hi y'all! I'm still alive! But a friend of mine ain't ... I've been saying my last goodbyes to a bloody good friend over the last week-and-a-bit. He died unexpectedly as the result of a massive stroke aged 42. He never smoked, drank in moderation, exercised regularly ... and yet he's gone.

Enjoy life.

Y'never know when the journey will end.

  7. Hey man. About 4 years ago I lost my very best friend in the whole world (a truly, magnificently funny, amazing guy). He was also 42, and the same as your dear friend. Developed stomach cancer and was gone in less than a year.

A truly hard time was endured by all, but one that has become better over time, because now I refer to the fun times often, and share with my other (newer) friends his many funny quips and sayings.

It still brings a very wide smile. :)

    Hang in there.

    Peace,

    Matt in Atlanta
