A Stroll in the Park

With the approach of summer (suck on THAT one, Northern Hemisphere!) it is time for us all to take advantage of the many joys our green areas can provide.

Planning a picnic? Don't forget your rug!
**

Children can have hours of fun in specially designed play areas.
**

Plenty of seating is available for those who wish to sit quietly and enjoy the wonders of nature.
**

Feeling hungry? You'll find plenty of picnic tables for that special snack.
**

There are always plenty of friendly, helpful officials around. Here, Officer Schlong gives direction to a needy park visitor...
**

Many people choose to use our parks for exercise. Local football player, Max Hardon, regularly uses his local park to practise the ancient martial art of Karmfuqmi.
**

Local college students make use of their local park for boisterous games like touch-rugby.
**

You might have to queue for some of the more popular attractions but the scenery makes the wait worthwhile.
**

Feel free to make use of the toilet facilities.
**

So, make the effort to visit your local park this summer. You'll find hidden delights around every corner.

  2. Today was a great day for the park temps in the 70's! Only thing is some of the trees and foliage is bare so there's little coverage.
