So I started up a wotsit over on Tumblr as a backup for this blog in fear of the Google Cops closing me down ... but now the Tumblr has been compromised and is showing nothing but fake ads for a Starbucks promo.

It hasn't been compromised, as such. That's just a case of idiots reblogging stuff without bothering to see whether it is legit or not.
